From my hands to yours.

Hi, I’m Hannah - the hands and heart behind The Heathered Kiln.

This studio began as a quiet way to slow down and create in the midst of motherhood. My work shifts with the seasons of life, just as I do. Each collection reflects what I’m exploring in the studio and what I’m learning about home, connection, and joy.

Located in Nixa, Missouri, I do all of my work from the comfort and beautiful chaos of my own home.

I have been drawn to clay since I was a young adult and have slowly found a way to make it part of my rhythm. Clay has a way of slowing everything down. It requires presence, patience, and attention. In a season where I’m chasing (literally) two toddler boys most of the day, slowing down almost feels laughable. Turns out, laughter is good for us. I am finding more and more that life is about slowing down, connecting to the people and the things around you, and finding joy in them.

It feels like such an incredible gift that I get to take mud and turn it into something useful and beautiful. Sharing that gift with others is bringing me such joy!

I’m drawn to functional pieces that are meant to be held and used everyday. I love the idea that something shaped in my hands might become part of your morning coffee, your family table, or a quiet evening at home. I hope something I make might just help you slow down too.

The Heathered Kiln is not about perfection or mass production. It’s about making small batches with intention, releasing them when it feels right, and allowing the work to evolve naturally over time.

Thank you for being here — truly. It means more than you know.

“Life is about slowing down, connecting to the people and the things around you, and finding joy in them.”
